So far! Till we hit the sky.

What stared as pleasure tripping dialogue, to Cambodia, to Angkor wat in particular, took a serious turn with the possibility of Lotus research in these south east countries. My everyday search of new locations' flight fares started staring at flights to Bangkok, phnom penh, Yangon. The next day Hindu carried an ad, with 8999 return fare to Bangkok, and we had booked the ticket at a little extra fare of 9800. MAA-BKK-MAA. Yes, a fare in which one can't imagine to fly in longer routes within Indian skies. We booked, not without a drama though. "payment deducted, ticket not booked".
Huh, yeah, my customer care calls legends, just added another story to it. It took another 12 hours to confirm the same. Yes, we are ready. Slowly and steadily, I'm getting the purpose of Lotus trails, which lets me involve into the trip more. We sure about, what to expect, the unexpected'. (angkorwat is an exception of course. My referential note of history of architecture wrote, a place to see before I die). It becomes a joke, and that little naughty reaction in the listeners, when they hear, that we are going to Bangkok. 'be careful', play safe, izzat bacha lao. Yes, all kinds of responses, added with, get me a tv, get me a hard disk, call me when you are there. Get me a 3G/wifi/touch/any good phone too. The tickets had their hidden rates, for seat or 'hot seat', meals, check in luggage too. If you are traveling by air Asia, make note of it. Just to be careful we went and pre booked the luggage of 15kg, for 630 rupees extra, whereas we would have been made to pay 1300, that too, only with a non existent credit card. We reached well on time, at the international departure, and waited for sometime. Having covered all parts of ars*, we were well through, check-in, immigration, security and to th boarding lounge. I had a total weight of 5.8kg excluding my MacBook. We just sat, made sure of all the places, to get out from, the modes of transport, address at Siem reap etc. more than anything, we were expecting the craziest flight, with a possibility of asking to sit down, at an exaggerated thought provoking process! Bye messages to friends & families, and we were into the most pleasant flight now. Very similar to our Indian LCC, (low cost carriers), Air Asia had a very decent flight to fly for a Cheap price. Seat number 25 A, 25 B. No stories of interest here. At 2215, we had took off from Chennai.
